Learn the English you'll use at work

English for design, taught by a designer

Hi, I'm Dylan! I'm a UX designer and English communication coach.

I created Fluent by Design to help UX and Product designers speak English with confidence at work.

Every session uses real design topics, so you practice the English you need.

Learn by doing, not memorizing

You don't learn English by memorizing grammar. You learn it by doing. In every session, you do a real design task: pitch an idea, give feedback or run a user interview.

It's English designed for designers: practical, relevant, and immediately useful.

100% online, from anywhere

All sessions are live and online, so you can join from anywhere.

Study with the tools you already know

Real UX tools. Real communication practice. In Fluent by Design sessions, we use FigJam, Figma, and Miro. These are the same tools you use at work. So the English you learn is always connected to your real job.

What my students say

"I became more aware of sentence structures and how to express myself better. After just the first lesson, I felt encouraged to give a real-life presentation about my work. I definitely recommend. Dylan is a very attentive teacher."
Laís,Senior Product Designer, Paris
"We touched on real issues from my work, we could talk in terms of advanced UX, and we used Figjam, so I felt comfortable and the material was engaging. If you want to express something creative or more technical, you need to learn with someone who knows what you're talking about and can teach you how to improve from that perspective."

Frequently asked questions

Who are the sessions for?
UX and product designers who already speak some English but want to sound more confident, natural and professional at work.
What level of English do I need?
You'll get the most out of Fluent by Design if you're around a B1 to C1 level (intermediate to advanced). Not sure? We check your level on the free call.
How do online sessions work?
Sessions are live 1:1 on Google Meet, with a shared FigJam board. After each session you get a review card with your phrases. All you need is a laptop, headphones and a stable connection.
What's a “task-based” lesson?
You learn by doing, not memorizing. Each lesson focuses on real work tasks like presenting a case study, giving feedback, or leading a design critique.
Can I choose what to focus on?
Yes. Every learning plan is personalized. You can focus on interviews, meetings, presentations or general fluency for your career.
